Sermon by Bro. Derrick Chia
God’s Supernatural Truth
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the LORD swore he would give to your fathers–to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob–and to their descendants after them.”
2015 – year of entering our promised land
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
What do you see?
God guides us with His eye
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
See Great Harvest !
Seeing what God Sees
‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
Hearing What God says
He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
Change the way you SPEAK and you will experience positive changes in the world that you live in
“If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body…Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things…the tongue is a fire…set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell…” (James 3:2-8)
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
1 Corinthians 2:6-10
6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”[a]
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
